In Poland, one of the main causes of infant and young child deaths are situations that often accompany our daily lives, such as diarrhea, choking or accidental poisoning. Often the lives of young patients could be saved if the mother or caregiver on the scene were able to recognize the danger and take a few simple actions in a timely manner.
Our course program is designed to prepare you to professionally and decisively help a child in a life-threatening situation. During the course, we focus mainly on practical activities. You will have the opportunity to learn CPR by practicing on CPR phantoms, and you will gain skills to deal with the most common injuries that occur in children. We present the theory in a thorough and accessible manner so you can understand the basic principles.
The goal of our course is to provide you with knowledge and skills that can prove invaluable in emergency and life-threatening situations. We want you to be prepared to take effective rescue action and help save a child’s life.
The course lasts 2 hours and takes place at the client’s residence. The course is taught by a qualified midwife.
